Before working at Routen Chaplin, what was the most unusual or interesting job you have had?
My first job was at UCI Cinema (now Odeon). A great job if you enjoy watching films although you soon get fed up with the popcorn.
Do you have any particular niche is any insurance specialism?
Commercial insurance across most sectors.
How did you come to take the role at Routen Chaplin?
I moved to Routen Chaplin from a national broker. Being part of a smaller, local team gives me more opportunity to share my experience as well as support clients in and around the area.
How would you describe yourself as an individual?
I am very customer focussed and aim to deal with any tasks efficiently and with care. Having worked in financial services since 2000 and insurance since 2013, I have a strong knowledge in the industry. This background helps with the regulatory-side and allows me to deal with clients professionally.

What do you like doing outside of work?
I spend much of my spare time with the family, whether at home or trips out. I like to keep active, so regularly visit the gym or play football. I also follow Derby County.
