As Senior Commercial Account Handler, Linda spends her day handling renewals, mid-term amendments and quoting for new business. This involves keeping up-to-date with clients’ needs, liaising with insurers and checking policy documentation, and she describes her work as challenging, satisfying and busy.

Having spent her career in insurance, Linda brings a wealth of experience to Routen Chaplin. Over the years, she has dealt with many different clients and brokers, arranging cover and keeping abreast of relevant legislation. Her particular specialism has included handling property and casualty policies for factories, warehouses, shops and offices; liability and contract works for the construction trade; and cover for the motor trade.

Determined, well-organised, friendly and reliable, Linda says she was looking for a new challenge after leaving her last position with a major insurance company in Nottingham and believes Routen Chaplin, as a local organisation with ambition, is a company where her local knowledge and extensive experience will be put to good use.

When she’s not in the office, Linda can be found growing vegetables on her allotment, taking her miniature poodle for walks and eating out with family and friends. She also enjoys holidays in Italy and is learning to speak Italian.
