A positive experience with VSCC Assist

A client of ours is a Vintage Sports Car Club member and has chosen to take out VSCC Assist, a breakdown product designed specifically for members that offers many exclusive features, including roadside assistance, nationwide breakdown recovery, European breakdown recovery and more for any vehicle.

His modern motorhome, which is covered by his VSCC Assist policy as it extends to any vehicle regardless of age, suffered battery failure at a National Trust car park and the vehicle could not be started.

Due to the size of the vehicle, a full-length recovery transporter was required to collect the motorhome. However, an employee at the National Trust insisted that the recovery driver must follow a designated route, which is designed for cars and smaller vehicles.

To reach the motorhome, the recovery driver had to do lots of manoeuvring, but he kept his spirits up and was able to reach our client.

Our client has said: “I was pleased with how quickly the case was handled. From initial phone call through to reaching and jump starting the vehicle, the process only took 45 minutes.
