Private Medical Insurance - Personal
Private health insurance gives you access to eligible health treatment when you need it, from seeing a specialist for diagnosis to having a comfortable private hospital stay.
With the NHS under unprecedented pressure following the pandemic, and hospital waiting lists at an all-time high, more people are looking to private medical insurance to get the treatment they require, when they need it.
We’re here to look after your health and wellbeing. Our private health insurance plan, Personal Health, provides tailored cover for the things that matter to you. A wide range of treatment is covered as standard, including cancer, CT or MRI scans, and you can then add cover to suit your needs. For example, if you require cover for diagnostics and specialist consultations, you’ll need to take out our out-patient option.
With our heart and cancer cover and care, you’ll be covered for radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and you’ll also have access to a dedicated nurse helpline to discuss any concerns about the condition, treatment and care options. You can talk to us at any time of day or night, so you’ll never have to find your way on your own.
You’ll also have unlimited access to our online GP service, AXA Doctor at Hand, giving you the opportunity to have a 20-minute video or phone consultation with a fully qualified GP whenever you wish, to fit in with your work and home commitments. AS you wish, you may choose to include such covers as tests and scans through your online GP, access to specialist consultants, mental health support and physiotherapy.
Private Medical Insurance helps you get speedy diagnosis and access to treatment quickly, with a long list of private hospitals available, assuring you of privacy and comfort.
