Handling complex claims quickly and effectively
1st August, 2018
A local upholstering business client of ours called up to notify us of a water leak that damaged several rolls of fabric.
Whilst we initially thought this would be a straightforward claims process, our client had bought the fabric at a trade show with a handwritten receipt and therefore had no formal invoice or proof of payment.
We arranged for a loss adjuster to visit our client and resolve this issue. A loss adjuster is an insurance agent who assesses the amount of compensation that should be paid after a policyholder has made a claim.
Understanding the urgency and that making a claim can be stressful for clients, our client was given a sum £2,5000 within 6 weeks of contacting us.
