Charity Christmas challenge: accepted

27th November, 2018

Routen Chaplin are taking part in the Treetop Hospice Christmas fundraiser – The Accumulator Challenge.

Each participating group is given £50 loan by the hospice, which will later be given back, and they have just four weeks to see how much they can make this amount grow.

From 15th November until 12th December, Routen Chaplin will be hosting a raffle to earn as much money as they can. Tickets are £1 each and are available for staff, clients, and members of the public to purchase from the reception desk.

The raffle prizes include chocolates, shortbread, wine, a luxury hamper, £25 M&S voucher, £25 Amazon voucher and much more! The winners will be announced the following week.

On Wednesday 12 December, all participating teams will be invited to an End of Challenge Social at Treetops Hospice to announce the winners with mince pies and mulled wine.

Treetops Hospice will be awarding prizes on the night to:

  • The Team that has raised the most money
  • Most innovative idea
  • Most festive idea

Treetops Hospice Care provides nursing care and emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, from diagnosis onwards.

The hospice requires £3 million to run every year, which is about £7,500 per day. 70% of this money comes from donations and fundraisers. The money goes to not only providing care, but other services such as therapy, counselling, bereavement sessions, wellbeing days and more.

It really is such a wonderful local charity and we look forward to seeing you take part! Pop in to Routen Chaplin on Tamworth Road to enter.
