Coronavirus update

20th March, 2020

With regard to recent developments in the Covid-19 situation, we would like to assure customers we are taking steps to protect staff and ensure our business continues to operate to full capacity.

Until close of play on Friday 20th March, all members of staff will work from our offices in Long Eaton, Nottingham. From Monday 23rd March onwards, we have initiated a working from home arrangement, in response to the Prime Minister's recent advice to limit all non-essential travel and social contact.

As we recently updated our IT infrastructure, it means every member of the team can log in and carry out all functions remotely, ensuring it’s very much business as usual.

You will appreciate we are exceptionally busy and receiving an unprecedented number of phone-calls concerning insurance cover at this time. In order that we can give each query our full attention, we would ask you to email us, giving such details as policy number, nature of query and contact details. To email, please use the contact form on the website which can be found here.

We understand this is a difficult and unsettling time for you and your loved ones, and your business, but want to assure you we will continue to put our customers first and deliver the highest standards of efficiency, professionalism and personal attention.

You will appreciate the times ahead are uncertain and we must be prepared to work in line with the daily briefings from the Prime Minister. But one factor remains: At Routen Chaplin, we have always put customers at the heart of everything we do and will continue to do so.

Please be assured, we will contact you should we have any further updates on the situation.
