Routen Chaplin Welcomes Sarah

30th October, 2024

Routen Chaplin is delighted to announce the addition of Sarah to their team as a Personal Lines Handler. Sarah brings with her a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the niche area of specialist vehicles. With a strong passion for anything vintage, particularly vintage buses, Sarah’s enthusiasm and expertise align perfectly with her new role.

Sarah’s journey to Routen Chaplin began when her previous employer shut down its motor insurance operations. She was approached by Gemma via LinkedIn, who recognised her expertise and passion for specialist vehicles. A few conversations later, Sarah was offered the position at Routen Chaplin, and she couldn’t be happier with her decision.

When asked to describe herself, Sarah sums it up in three words: happy, passionate, and independent. Her vibrant personality shines not only in her professional life but also in her personal interests. Outside of work, Sarah is deeply involved in volunteering. She spends much of her time at a local heritage steam railway, taking on various roles from platform foreman to engine cleaner and even serving drinks on bar trains. Her love of railways extends to her YouTube channel, where she regularly shares her adventures on the tracks. Additionally, Sarah volunteers at a local heritage centre, helping with the research and running of local history projects, and once a year, she lends her skills in lighting and sound at her local church for their annual play.

With a deep-rooted passion for history and a love for specialist vehicles, Sarah brings a unique blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and community spirit to Routen Chaplin. The team is thrilled to welcome her aboard and looks forward to the positive contributions she will make in her new role.
